The planet Gaeana is much like Earth. Its size and orbit are very similar. Years are exactly 360 days. Seasons are slightly different, as Gaeana has a bit less axial tilt (15°, rather than 23°), resulting in a smaller tropical region and greater temperate regions. However, in the end, Gaeana seems like a cousin to Earth, orbiting a similar star in some distant galaxy.

The inhabitants of Gaeana, and their stories, are located on a southern continent, roughly the size of South America. It runs north-to-south from just above the equator to the higher latitudes of the southern temperate region.
