Few have ever traveled to Hinterland. In fact, only psatti cartographers and a few explorers from the Erim Empire have been confirmed in going and returning. It is the southernmost region of the continent and borders the southern ocean. Winters are very cold and summer is mild. There are no known cities or inhabitants of Hinterland and little is known of its nature. However, southern Aseans have legends of an ancient race of giants that used to live in the mountains.
